Coronavirus Policy

Since the Prime Minister's announcement on 23rd March 2020 restricting people's travel, Morrells Valley Lodges along with all other holiday accommodation providers in the country have been closed.  For those who have not been able to take their holiday, we have transferred bookings to other suitable dates.  Some people still have to decide on when this might be, some have transferred to the equivalent date next year and some are aiming to come later this year.  We will work with our guests as much as we can to find another suitable date that is mutually conveneient.  If the chosen dates are for a differenct price, there may be a price adjustment involving a further amount to pay or a refund of the difference.  There is no administration charge to amend holidays.  We will continue with this policy in the event of further outbreaks/restrictions.

When we are able to re-open, we will be observing government guidance on social distancing and strict hygiene protocols will be observed for changeover days.  Once the lodge has been cleaned and prepared we will not enter the lodge again.  Guests will not be shown in as before and all the information they need for their stay will be in the house book.

There is a private hot tub with each lodge.  On changeover days the hot tub will be emptied, cleaned and disinfected before refilling so guests can be assured of their safety.  One of us will show new guests how to operate their hot tub (complying with social distance measures and using PPE).  The majority of our guests are regular visitors and will not need any assistance.

The communal areas ie the gym/wifi lounge and children's play area will not be open to guests until it is safe to do so.  There will be hand sanitiser provided for guests use at the recycling/bin area.

We very much hope that we will soon be welcoming guests again to this beautiful part of Devon.
